Learning Garden

Est. 2021

What is a Learning Garden?

A learning garden is a place where young and old alike can come and learn all about gardening, food preparation, and preservation. If you know “HOW” the garden will be a place to show others. If you want to know “HOW” it will be a place you can learn and gain experience. The opportunities for learning will change based on the season. There will be opportunities to build, plant, create, harvest, market, water, weed, mow, use power tools, design, cook, can, and dehydrate. This will all be done side by side teaching and learning.

Who can help?

Presently we have a strong team of ten active team members and partnerships with different entities within the community. We are in the early stages of development and would love to hear from you on how you would like to be involved.
