Listening Leads to Living

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." A cute, memorable, and completely WRONG nursery rhyme. Words can hurt. But, words can also heal. Some people's words can tear down while other people's words can build up. When we listen to words, we give them power. Discipleship is about letting the life giving power of the Word of Christ dwell in us and change us so His love and life can flow through us.
