Grievances

Here at Christ Center one of our 5 values is following Jesus, which seems easy at first glance but becomes a bit more challenging in daily living. Often it is difficult because of our thinking patterns. By nature we think earthly; our thoughts often come from a place of self: self-protection, self-importance, and self-righteousness. The idea of thinking again is a reminder that often our instinctual thought processes go the ways of the world, and yet Jesus whom we want to follow taught a different way of thinking. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God where things are done in a new way, resulting in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Join us as we think differently in the face of offense and grievance.
