History
In 2021, Pastor Steve Haney had a dream to create a soccer field on Christ Center property! Steve coached soccer for 20 years in Cashmere and saw the increasing need for more fields for practice and league play. With board approval and support from the Youth Soccer Association, a dream was turned into a reality. It took several years of a lot of hard work, donated time, volunteers, and financial support. From irrigation, power, curbing, sidewalks, to groundwork, seeding, and fertilizing.
The Soccer Field Today
The soccer field is used by the Youth Soccer Association and the 7v7 Adult Sunday League during the soccer season.

Maintenance
The cost of maintaining the field—seeding, fertilizing, irrigation, and weed control—is covered by church funds, donations, and grants. Maintenance is done April–October by a great group of volunteers.
