Join us at Christ Center as we SHINE the light of Jesus beyond our walls and into our communities, following the inspiration of Matthew 5:14-16. Our mission is to meet the needs of the God-curious, meaning-hungry, spirit-thirsty, and friendship-deprived world through practical service projects that demonstrate love for our neighbors. We’ll gather for a rallying church service at 10 AM, and then disperse into the community for service projects. Meet back at Christ Center at 5:00 PM for dinner, connection, and celebration of projects accomplished.

Shine Students Encouragement Packages

Students in grades 5 to 12 are invited on Sunday night during regular Youth Group time from 6 to 8 to make encouragement packages for staff members at their school. Supplies will be provided.

Yard Cleanup Project

Helping a member of our church with some landscaping and yard cleanup around her home. We'll be tackling general cleanup, trimming, and a few other outdoor projects. Many hands will make for light work!

Property clean-up at the end of Mission Creek Rd, including large items, metal, junk/garbage, personal items, and more.

Teacher Blessing Bags

Christ Center Kids will create blessing bags for the teachers and staff at Vale Elementary as they prepare for a new school year. Each bag will include small treats, school supplies, handwritten encouragement notes, and a Bible verse or prayer. Through this project, children will learn how simple acts of kindness can share God's love and encourage those who serve our community every day. It will be done during normal Sunday kids ministry time.

We will be pulling weeds and dead plants to clear our flower beds. We will sweep and clean up any debris.
